I am a London-based independent curator working across contemporary design, architecture, and art.

My practice explores how material processes make visible the psychological and social structures underlying experiences of migration, memory, and belonging in postcolonial Britain.

I work with museums, cultural organisations, and creative practitioners to develop research-led exhibitions, curatorial frameworks, and public programmes that open these inquiries to broader public engagement.

Wavering
2024

Black stoneware clay with matte translucent glaze.
—I scraped the clay with wire, same motion
over and over. Lines radiating outward
from a hollow centre, like a question
I kept asking anyway.

Black clay holds every mark you make.
It did.

The glaze sits translucent over the dark,
doesn't lift it, only clouds it.
A partially visible wound.

The air different
just from sitting next to you.
I knew enough. I kept going back.

One night a stranger stopped us, asked for advice. 
I said: those in love are a little crazy.
We kept walking. I meant it.

You said you’d protect me.
I heard myself ask:
but who would protect me from you?

The form kept flaring open
before pulling back into itself.
I built it that way before I admitted
I was shaping what I wouldn't say.

It is fired now. Permanent.
The clay has no memory of being soft
and yet here are all the marks.

I turn back to the centre,
holding shape.
